A mass mobilisation of Palestinian citizens of Israel took place on Thursday 22 January as part of a Day of Rage in protest at an all‑time record in the number of Arabs murdered amid the crisis of gun violence within the community — a crisis nurtured by policies of institutionalised crime. The Day of Rage must not be allowed to become a one‑off “release of steam” — the struggle must continue to be built against Netanyahu’s ultra-right government of blood and for the eradication of anti‑social crime, poverty, and discrimination
